Enjoying the sporting side of being a lifesaving coach

As well as being a partner in Blake Lapthorn's Professional Regulatory team at our Southampton office, Chris Alder is the firm's trainee principal and actively involved with the development of our future lawyers. He has been a member of the Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS) for many years and is now chairman of the Thames Valley Branch.

There are various routes to becoming a solicitor. At Blake Lapthorn, we support people to find the best option for them. Chris Deacon joined our Travel Litigation team in Southampton as a paralegal and qualified as a solicitor in 2010. Chris and the team have recently won a Solent Education Business Partnership Amazing People award for their work with local schools promoting modern languages.
