We are delighted to invite you to our Regulatory evening seminar and autumn drinks event, which will take place on Thursday 26 September at our London office.
The evening will begin with a review of recent key case law in the professional disciplinary sector, delivered by Kenneth Hamer of Henderson Chambers, author of the ‘Professional Conduct Casebook’.
The Blake Morgan team will then introduce the evening’s facilitated discussion topic – ‘Adverse Inferences in Professional Disciplinary Proceedings’ – with a summary of how this issue has developed in recent times and has now culminated with the recent judgment in the case of Kuzmin v GMC.
The talks and discussion will be followed by networking and refreshments.
The event will allow attendees to:
- Update their knowledge of key professional disciplinary case law;
- Develop their understanding of how disciplinary tribunals will now approach the issue of a professional’s silence in such proceedings;
- Network with colleagues from the professional disciplinary legal sector.
We very much hope that you can join us.
