Did you know that less than 50% of insurance policies provide cruise cover?

It is now that time of year where we’re all thinking about booking our summer holidays and can’t wait for the hot weather.

One thing that is often overlooked when booking your holiday is whether or not your insurance policy provides appropriate cover.  As mundane as it sounds, it really is important to carefully review any insurance policy to ensure that it provides cover for your holiday.

The financial information provider, Defaqto, has reported that less than 50% of insurance policies provide cover for cruises. This is due to the fact that cruises often involve high-risk activities such as jet skiing and rock climbing.

So to avoid any unexpected bills, review your insurance policy and make sure you’re covered!
