Blake Morgan's Mock Employment Tribunal - 14 Nov
We would like to invite you to join us at our Mock Employment Tribunal event in Southampton on Wednesday 14 November starting at 1.30 pm. Attending or preparing for a Tribunal Hearing can be an uncertain time for HR and witnesses alike. This event therefore aims to provide those who deal, or may have to deal, with Employment Tribunal cases an insight into how the Tribunal system works and, hopefully, reassurance in how to manage a claim going forward without the stress of being involved for real!
We will take you through the conduct of an Employment Tribunal claim involving allegations of disability discrimination, failure to make reasonable adjustments and constructive dismissal from start to finish. The session will be interactive and will be a great opportunity to observe how witness evidence in Employment Tribunal cases is prepared and presented, how hearings are conducted and what factors an Employment Tribunal panel considers when making its decision.
The session will include:
- Documents available for you to read before the hearing starts;
- Seeing how an Employment Tribunal hearing is conducted, including cross-examination of the witnesses, presentation of legal arguments and the Employment Tribunal's judgment; and
- Exploring and discussing the strengths and weaknesses of each party's case and having a say in what you think the Employment Tribunal's decision should be.
Members of Blake Morgan’s Employment team will be there throughout the event and will be delighted to answer any queries you may have.
There is no cost for attending the event, but please note places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. To book, click on the 'Register Now' button.
There will be a short break and refreshments during the session and drinks and canapes will be served afterwards.
