Blake Morgan's Mock Employment Tribunal

We would like to invite you to join us at our upcoming Mock Employment Tribunal event in Oxford on Thursday 7 June.

This will be an interactive event and we will take you through the conduct of an Employment Tribunal case from start to finish. The case will involve claims of disability discrimination, the failure to make reasonable adjustments and constructive dismissal.

This is a great chance to experience how witness evidence in Employment Tribunal cases is prepared and presented, to see how the hearings are conducted and to get an insight into an Employment Tribunal's decision-making process. It should be a very useful experience for anyone who deals - or may have to deal - with Employment Tribunal cases, without the stress of being involved for real!

In particular:

  • The papers will be available for you to read before the hearing starts;
  • You will be able to see how the Employment Tribunal hearing is conducted, including cross-examination of the witnesses, presentation of legal arguments and the Employment Tribunal's decision-making process; and
  • You will have the chance to explore and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each party's case and have a say in what you think the Employment Tribunal's decision should be 

Members of Blake Morgan’s Employment team will be there throughout the event and will be delighted to answer any queries.

There is no cost for attending the event, but please note places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Registration will take place at 10.30 am with the Mock Employment Tribunal beginning at 11.00 am and ending at 1.00 pm followed by lunch.
