- There have been some significant employment law changes in recent months and there are even more still to come. In our first case study we will look at issues such as the GDPR and the impact of the April 2018 tax changes on PILONs for example. These all have implications for contracts of employment. What should your contractual review cover and how should any changes be made? Don't forget that these employment law changes also impact on HR policies and how up to date are yours?
- There have been numerous high profile stories about sexual harassment recently. Sexual harassment is unlawful and the impact on an individual can be devastating and include a loss of confidence, low self-esteem, stress and anxiety. There may also be increased sickness absence and reduced productivity which clearly has implications for the employer too. Creating a workplace free from sexual harassment should be a priority for employers. In our second case study we will look at how to achieve this and how to manage any complaints effectively, taking into account recently published guidance by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and ACAS.
The cost of attendance is £30 + VAT per delegate. Breakfast will be provided and the session will start 30 minutes after the time shown.
Please note, as numbers are limited at these events, if you do book a place on the seminar and subsequently are unable to attend, you may send a colleague in your place provided you let us know in advance, but if you are unable to, you will be charged the full booking fee of £30 + VAT.
