BULLETIN: Professional regulatory law update - Review of June 2015
Welcome to Blake Morgan's latest edition of the professional regulatory law update, our update of the important case law and news in the field of Professional Regulation. This month's edition looks at legal developments in June 2015.
The case of Soni v General Medical Council produced an interesting Judgment focusing on an Appellant's wash-up orders following his success at the substantive appeal. The wash-up orders related to costs and the removal of information relating to the disciplinary proceedings from the public eye. The main aspect of the Judgment that regulators should take note of is that there remains a real need to expedite the removal of material relating to appealed disciplinary proceedings from websites.
