President welcomes new CILEx Regulation chair

Sam Younger CBE has been appointed Chair of CILEx Regulation, the independent regulator of Chartered Legal Executive lawyers, members of the CILEx, and specialist lawyers authorised for independent practice.

First female RICS Chair of Wales for 136 years

Helen Kane, Director of Access Included, has become the new local Chairperson of RICS in Wales, taking over the post from Neil Brierley for a two-year term.

Helen has over 30 years’ international experience across residential, retail, industrial and commercial sectors.

New Chair of NCTL appointed

Experienced school leader appointed to drive forward further improvements in the school system.

The principal of an outstanding school in Devon and chief executive officer (CEO) of a successful academy trust in the South West has been appointed as the new Chair of the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), Education Secretary Nicky Morgan announced today (12 October 2015).  Roger Pope, Principal of Kingsbridge Community College, Devon, and CEO of Academies South West, will take up the position of Chair of NCTL from today.

FRC Codes & Standards Committee and Council Appointments

Welsh Pharmacy Board elects Chair and Vice-Chair 

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society in Wales (RPS Wales) is pleased to report that Suzanne Scott Thomas has been elected as Chair of the Welsh Pharmacy Board and that Paul Harris has been elected as Vice-Chair.
