Firm farewell for long-serving retirees

Posted on
Blake Morgan's Corporate department recently said goodbye to two long-serving colleagues, partner Richard Tassell who has been with the firm for over 15 years and Anita Proud, a secretary in the Employment team for over 28 years.

A special reception was held at New Kings Court on 14 December, where head of Department, Manoj Styche-Patel presented Richard with an IPad from the firm. Richard spoke warmly about his time at Blake Morgan and will remain in close contact, helping the firm develop new business connections.

A reception was also held at New Kings Court, on 19 December, to mark Anita's retirement. In recent years, Anita has worked as a secretary for Max Craft and prior to that for Colin Barlow. Colin and his wife came along to the reception, as did Anita's husband, David, and her sister, Penny Wilson (and family) who also worked for the firm until recently. Anita was presented with a watch and travel vouchers from the firm.

We will be welcoming both Richard and Anita to join the firm's flourishing alumni network.

The next alumni social event is being planned in conjunction with the Oxford Literary Festival. Further details will follow shortly.
