The firm, which has offices in Oxford and Reading, has been shortlisted for the prestigious title of Law Firm of the Year in the annual awards, which are now in their 10th year.

There was also good news for Michael Stace, head of the Thames Valley Corporate team, who works across the Oxford and Reading offices.

Michael, a corporate, banking and partnership specialist, has been shortlisted in the Lawyer of the Year category.

The results will be announced at an awards dinner hosted by TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre on Thursday, April 21.

Mike Wilson, Blake Morgan regional senior partner for the Thames Valley, said: “We are honoured to have been nominated by our clients for the law firm of the year award and pleased that Michael has been recognised as an expert legal advisor in the region.

“This shortlisting recognises our presence in the local market and the considerable volume of deals that we have completed to help drive forward business growth in the Thames Valley. We are very much looking forward to finding out the results in April.”

Commenting on his nomination for the lawyer of the year award, Michael Stace, said: “Thames Valley has a thriving business community so it's no surprise that more and more innovative, fast growing companies see the region as the place to do business.

“I've enjoyed working on a number of high profile transactions over the last 12 months and I am grateful that our success and commitment to putting our clients first has been recognised by these nominations.'
