Two new major appointments strengthen London Banking team

Two experienced solicitors have joined Blake Lapthorn's London based Banking and Finance team to strengthen its position as a leading firm.

Partner Malcolm Pearson joins with more than 20 years’ banking experience dealing with secured and unsecured lending structures, bilateral, club and syndicated, asset and acquisition finance. He also gives regulatory and general banking advice as well as acting for most of the main UK domestic banks and some private banks. 

Legal Director Maria Watmough is an expert in banking and finance in the real estate division. She specialises in secured and unsecured lending structures and represents some of the UK’s leading domestic banks.
