Commenting on Sara's appointment, Guthrie McGruer, said: "We are delighted that Sara is joining us. As an experienced planning specialist with extensive client contacts, her skills will integrate well with our existing team as we continue to strive to be the firm of choice for our developer clients by extending our offering in this area."

Office senior partner for Blake Lapthorn's London office, Lawrence Phillips, added: "Sara's appointment will be the third partner appointment for the firm's London office this year, and represents another significant step in fulfilling our strategy of growing our teams in key areas to help us achieve our goal of building a consistent, high quality brand in both business and private law services. Sara, with her specialist skills, is a very welcome addition."
Blake Lapthorn's Planning team, which is ranked in the top tier for both the Legal 500 2012 and Chambers UK 2013 legal directories, offers a full service to its clients in the ever-changing world of town and country planning law. I am impressed by the integrated nature of the firm, its extensive range of services, professionalism and high levels of client care.
