Pensions law specialist Rupert Graham-Evans is re-joining colleagues at law firm Blake Morgan after five years away.

Rupert left the firm, then known as Blake Lapthorn, in 2010, but has now returned to Blake Morgan’s offices at New Kings Court, Southampton, as a Legal Director in the firm’s growing pensions team.

Rupert rejoins Blake Morgan from the law firm Penningtons Manches. He has more than 10 years’ experience of pensions law and advises employees, trustees, intermediaries and individuals on the legal aspects of pension and life assurance arrangements.

He works across sectors including retail and leisure, the public sector, education and charities and also advises employers on pensions auto-enrolment.

Rupert is listed in the prestigious legal directories Chambers and the Legal 500, and is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.

Blake Morgan partner John Hamilton, head of the pensions team, said: “We look forward to welcoming Rupert to the team. He is a great addition and brings with him a breadth of experience across a wide range of schemes.

“Pensions continue to raise difficult challenges for many of our clients and we are responding to this challenge through the continued expansion of the team.”
