A consultant solicitor at Oxford law firm Blake Morgan has been appointed to a panel made up of the some of the world’s most experienced mediation experts.

David Miles, has been officially named as one of 17 new mediators to be formally appointed to CEDR – the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution.

The CEDR Mediator Panel is acknowledged to contain many of the most experienced mediators in the UK and internationally. It handles up to 10,000 commercial and consumer disputes a year, with the aim of resolving them without resorting to court action.

The panel was previously made up of 100 mediators and has grown to 150 in recent years to reflect a growing demand for quality commercial mediators. New members have to undergo a rigorous selection process before they are appointed.

David has been a practising mediator since 1991 and is also a Privy Council agent, conducting a wide variety of cases in specialisms such as professional negligence, professional negligence personal injury, company and commercial law, probate and construction.
