Chartered Legal Executive
Charlene is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Succession and Tax team in the London office having joined Blake Morgan LLP from a leading Private Client London law firm.
Main areas of practice
Charlene’s practice covers a wide ranging area of expertise including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and administration of estates.
Her main area of focus is in relation to the administration of cross-jurisdictional estates, including Business Property Relief, Agricultural Property Relief and Deeds of Variation.
Charlene’s clients range from private individuals and families, trustees and executors.
Charlene qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in January 2013.
She began her career specialising in a range of private client matters, including Will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney, although her main area of work was estate administration, in particular intestate estates.
Her time at a top 50 law firm, Farrer & Co LLP was spent dealing with the administration of estates and the dissolution of companies passing to the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall.
Prior to qualifying she gained experience working in family law which enabled her to understand the general needs and issues of a private client, having accrued a total of over 10 years’ experience to date.
