Emma Bradley is a Trainee Solicitor in our London office. She is currently on secondment to the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Main areas of practice
Emma spent the first seat of her training contract in the Commercial Litigation team, working on professional negligence matters, trust and shareholder disputes, judicial reviews and a range of intellectual property disputes.
Her second seat was in the Clinical Negligence department, whereby she worked on a wide range of clinical negligence claims, including delays in diagnosis and treatment, birth injuries, catastrophic injuries and brain injuries.
Emma’s third seat was in the Succession and Tax team. Her work included drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and assisting with Court of Protection applications. She also assisted the team with probate matters and undertaking administration of estates.
Emma is currently spending her fourth seat on secondment to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (‘NMC’); the regulator for all nurses and midwives within the UK. She is based in the NMC’s Legal team and advises on investigations within their Fitness to Practise directorate.
Emma graduated with a first class degree in Law from the University of Hertfordshire in 2011. Following this, Emma attended the College of Law where she completed her Legal Practice Course.
Emma joined Blake Morgan’s Professional Regulatory team in February 2015 as a Paralegal. During this role, she was responsible for conducting Fitness to Practise investigations on behalf of various healthcare regulators. Emma has significant experience of advising on and investigating cases at each stage of the Fitness to Practise process. She has worked on complex high-profile matters and has conducted investigations in a full range of cases.
Emma commenced her training contract with Blake Morgan in September 2017.
