Emma is a Solicitor in our Employment and Pensions team based in Southampton. Previously, she has worked on insurance backed Employment Tribunal claims for both employees and employers.
Main areas of practice
She assists clients with bringing Employment Tribunal proceedings against their employers and or defending claims made by employees. This can involve seeking to negotiate settlements between the parties before proceedings commence or reach a final hearing. Claims could be for unfair dismissal, wages, holiday and discrimination.
Emma’s clients include individuals wishing to bring claims against their former employers and employers, who can range from sole traders to large organisations.
Emma joined Blake Morgan in November 2012, having worked at Lyons Davidson as a paralegal for over three years. She completed an LLB (Hons) degree at Bournemouth University in 2007 and went on to complete a Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in 2008. She qualified as a solicitor in 2018.
