Kimmo is a lawyer in the clinical negligence team, and responsible for helping clients to recover compensation for the injuries that they have sustained at the hands of medical professionals.
Main areas of practice
To seek redress for clients who have been injured by medical professionals. This will include claims against hospital Trusts, GP’s, Dentists and other medical professionals operating in a private capacity.
All of his clients are private individuals who have suffered an adverse outcome or injury as a result of medical malpractice.
Over 20 years in practice. Qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2006.
- Securing compensation for a client who had a leg amputated as a result of misdiagnosis (the Trust diagnosed Thrombosis when in fact the client had limb ischaemia).
- Securing compensation for a client who had to undergo a double mastectomy after undergoing breast enhancement surgery that was substandard – and resulted in infection and eventual tissue necrosis.
- Securing compensation for the Estate of a Deceased client who died prematurely as a result of the failure to act on a scan that revealed a lung tumour.
