Lisa is a Senior Associate in our Regulatory team. She is an experienced advocate with a background in regulatory law, prosecutions and police law.

Main areas of practice

Lisa has a broad range of expertise, and primarily advises professional regulators in connection with fitness to practice and related investigations.

She is an experienced regulatory prosecutor, having conducted prosecutions in fields such as planning, food hygiene and animal welfare.

She also has extensive experience advising police forces in connection with their operational functions, including Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Sexual Risk Orders and Stalking Protection Orders.

Clients

Lisa acts for a range of regulators, including the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Health and Care Professions Council. She also acts for police forces, advising them in connection with their operational work.

Expertise

Career

Lisa attended the University of Southampton, followed by the College of Law in Guildford. She trained with Blake Lapthorn and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. Prior to joining Blake Morgan in 2021, she was Assistant Force Solicitor at Hampshire Constabulary.
