Marian specialises in construction law, primarily transactional work, and has a strong background in advising on construction disputes.
Main areas of practice
Marian’s primary focus is now on transactional work including advising on the drafting and preparation of development agreements, building contracts, professional appointments and all related documentation. Her original specialisation was in dealing with construction and engineering related disputes, with particular experience in adjudication. Given her past experience, she is called upon periodically to act for clients in adjudications.
Working with funders, developers, contractors and consultants, Marian has acted for clients across a wide range of industry sectors.
- Experienced in using and advising on standard forms of construction contracts (such as JCT) and associated documents including performance bonds, parent company guarantees, collateral warranties (both standard forms and bespoke).
