Main areas of practice
Philip’s main practice areas include drafting appropriate Wills and creating or restructuring all forms of trusts to ensure the best solution for protecting assets and wealth. Philip also deals with powers of attorney and associated mental capacity issues.
He has experience of heritage and agricultural property and has acted for executors in the administration of various high value, complex, and sometimes disputed, estates, including dealing with private company shares and foreign property.
Philip joined the firm in January 2012 having previously been head of the Wills, probate and tax department in a Cheltenham practice. Before this, he acquired extensive private client experience at a niche firm in Leeds where he worked for many years.
