Sam Warner is a Solicitor in the Succession and Tax team based in Oxford.
Main areas of practice
Sam specialises in the preparation of Wills and offers estate planning advice including the use of testamentary trusts. She also prepares Lasting Powers of Attorney, assists clients to obtain grants of representation and advises on the administration of estates.
Sam advises private individuals on the best structure for their Wills including those with high-value assets and complex estates. She also offers advice to executors, beneficiaries, trustees and attorneys.
Sam completed her legal studies in 2014. She gained the Graduate Diploma in Law from Oxford Brookes University and passed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction. She qualified into our Succession and Tax team in 2016, having completed her two-year training with Blake Morgan. During that time she gained experience within our Succession and Tax, Charities, Commercial and Employment teams.
Sam also holds a BA Hons in Marketing and French and the Institute of Linguists’ post-graduate Diploma in Translation. Prior to joining the legal profession, Sam worked for 15 years as a press officer and in a variety of marketing roles, mainly in the public sector. She also worked freelance as a translator, editor and marketing copywriter.

- Sam has considerable experience in preparing complex Wills whether because of the client's net worth, the nature of the client's assets, or both. She has also advised on the post-death variations of estates. Sam also has considerable experience advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney for elderly and vulnerable clients.
