Main areas of practice
Sharon has substantial experience in advising social landlords on their varied housing management issues, and all types of proceedings for possession across all tenures. Sharon advises on disrepair, breaches of tenancy/lease, anti-social behaviour, squatters and other unlawful occupiers as well as injunctions for access, trespass and nuisance, and committal proceedings.
Her clients include social landlords, private residential and commercial landlords and retailers.
Sharon has considerable experience of housing disrepair matters, commercial dilapidations, action to prevent anti-social behaviour, other breaches of tenancy and residential tenancy deposits.
Sharon spent her early career in the Royal Navy. she began studying for her ILEX exams during her six years in the Navy Prosecuting Authority, where she dealt with criminal cases involving Courts Martial.
On leaving the Navy in 2002, she advised social landlords for Coffin Mew and Clarke Willmott, before joining Blake Morgan in 2011 where she broadened her expertise.
