Tom is a Senior Solicitor in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Cardiff specialising in contractual disputes, and public law matters.

Main areas of practice

Tom advises client on a broad range of general commercial and civil claims. He has experience of contractual claims, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and negligence cases.

Tom undertakes a range public law of work, including in relation to judicial review and procurement challenges.


Tom’s experience spans all aspects of dispute management and he is ideally placed to advise both public and private sector clients.


Tom is Deputy Chair of the firm’s CR Committee, and organises and takes part in many fundraising activities. He also leads Blake Morgan’s Growing Ambitions scheme. The scheme gives young people nominated by local social housing associations the chance to learn more about the world of business (through placements and mentoring) that will enhance their prospects of employment at a later date.

Tom is bilingual and a fluent Welsh speaker.



Tom studied his LL.B at the University of Glamorgan before completing the Legal Practice Course at the same institution. Tom joined Blake Morgan in 2008, working in the Dispute Resolution department before training with the firm. During his training contract, Tom undertook seats in the firm’s Commercial Property, Employment, Corporate, Banking and Litigation and Dispute Resolution teams.
