Blake Morgan launches Brexit Bitesize Guide 2020

Posted on 24th February 2020
Leading law firm Blake Morgan has today launched Brexit Bitesize magazine, which is designed to help businesses navigate the challenges and capitalise on the opportunities arising from Brexit.

The magazine – which can be downloaded from the firm’s website – highlights the key considerations for businesses in 2020, including how to remain GDPR compliant, how to protect your workforce, and how to look after Intellectual Property now the UK has left the EU. The magazine provides practical advice, guidance and what the main changes are likely to be during the transition period and in early 2021.

The magazine also outlines how family law may be affected from 2020 onwards, and how Brexit may affect cross-border issues such as divorce, maintenance and asset ownership.

Bruce Potter, Blake Morgan Chairman, said: “We’ve been working with our clients since 2016 to understand what the potential benefits and opportunities of Brexit could be and help get ready for change.

“While there are uncertain times ahead, one thing is certain; UK business is just as ambitious as before, so we’ve brought together our experts to launch Brexit Bitesize.  Covering the key issues, from commercial contacts to immigration and data protection, we want to make sure businesses and individuals are best placed to benefit from Brexit.”

Blake Morgan provides a breath of legal services across both the private and public sectors, with a strong regional presence across southern England and Wales.  From keeping data safe to managing workforces or resolving cross border disputes, Blake Morgan’s experts can help advice on the impact on Brexit across organisations.  Brexit Bitesize can be downloaded here.
