Our next Public Sector Network seminar is at our Cardiff office on Wednesday 16 October 2019, specifically for those in the public and third sector.
It’s been another very busy 12 months in the world of information governance. Although Brexit uncertainty continues to dominate the political landscape, we’ve also seen the first enforcement action taken under the GDPR, high profile data breaches in the news, and new guidance and codes of practice issued. Data protection law has even made it onto Netflix, with the recent documentary The Great Hack.
In this session, we will look at some of the recent trends and challenges for information governance in the public sector. We are very pleased to once again be joined by a representative from the Information Commissioner’s Office, who will be able to bring the regulator’s perspective. Blake Morgan’s own data protection lawyers will also be providing their tips for compliance. There will be opportunities to ask questions of the speakers and network with colleagues across the public sector.
If you have any queries about this seminar please email us.
We look forward to welcoming you.
