TAI 2017

Members of Blake Morgan's Social Housing team look forward to supporting CIH Cymru's TAI Conference – the largest of its kind in Wales.

The three day event which starts on the 25 April at the SWALEC Stadium has established itself as the essential forum for housing professionals to discuss and debate the hottest topics affecting the industry.

There is so much to contend with and consider with 20,000 homes to deliver, welfare reform, innovative modular construction, the as yet unknown implications of Brexit and a seemingly impromptu forthcoming election all playing a part we are addressing one of the hottest topics affecting the sector, the Welsh Government's intention to bring to an end to the Right to Buy scheme.

Siân Jones, a Partner in our Property Litigation team, will be considering the current scheme and alternatives available for affordable home ownerships. If you want to know what lessons can be learnt from Scotland with regards to affordable home ownership then we look forward to seeing you at Workshop2 at 2pm on Day 2.

Delegates at the conference are welcome to join us on the Blake Morgan stand (6), next to the Blake Morgan sponsored coffee cart where our leading Social Housing lawyers including Siân Jones, Joanna Rees, Penri Desscan, Louise Howells and Reshma Jogia will be continuing the discussion.

We will also once again be running a competition from our stand and look forward to judging the best Coffee Cup Selfie.
