4th Winchester Conference on Trust, Risk, Information and the Law

Blake Morgan are delighted to be sponsoring The Centre for Information Rights 4th Winchester Conference on Trust, Risk, Information and the Law. 

The overall theme for this year's conference will be 'Artificial and de-personalised decision-making: machine-learning, A.I, decision making and drones. The event is part of Research and Engagement Week 2017, the annual showcase of the University's research and engagement activity. Click here for more information.

The conference which is organised by The University of Winchester will take place on Wednesday 3 May 2017 and is expected to attract some of the UK's leading policy makers, practitioners and academics working in Law, Central and Local Government to Data and Computer Science and Technology. 

Keynote speakers will be professor Katie Atkinson, Head of Computer Science, University of Liverpool, and expert on artificial intelligence and its application to legal reasoning and John McNamara, IBM Senior Inventor, who will speak on protecting trust in a world disrupted by machine learning.
