Watch Rob Webster talk to Blake Morgan about the future of the NHS in England and in Wales
Blake Morgan LLP was delighted to be one of the main supporters of this year's Welsh NHS Confederation Conference 'Building a Vision for NHS Wales'. At the conference, we were fortunate to speak to Rob Webster, Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation.
Rob, who has recently announced that he is leaving the NHS Confederation to take up the post of Chief Executive at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, spoke candidly on topics ranging from devolution to workforce engagement.
You can view our two interviews in which we discuss the key issues impacting the NHS in both England and Wales below:

During the conference we also facilitated a workshop session on the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, led by Emyr Lewis, Wales Senior Partner. We were honoured to be joined by Cathy Weatherup, Head of Health Inequalities and International Health at the Department for Health and Social Services, Welsh Government and Andrew Charles, Head of Sustainable Development at the Department for Environment and Sustainable Development, Welsh Government. Both Cathy and Andrew spoke about the implications of the Act for NHS Wales, supplemented by Emyr's guidance on the legal implications.
During the session, Cathy also announced that two NHS-focussed workshops sessions will take place on 4 March and another date to be confirmed, that will provide practical guidance on the Act for NHS Wales, to be issued via Welsh Health Circular.
