Blake Morgan sign up to Reading Ethical Recruitment Charter

Posted on 23rd March 2022

Blake Morgan has become one of only two law firms in the Thames Valley to sign the Reading Ethical Recruitment Charter.

Ethical Reading is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to making Reading a better place to live and work through helping organisations become more ethical. Signing up to the Reading Ethical Recruitment Charter commits Blake Morgan to the ethical treatment of candidates.

The charter has three pillars of ethical recruitment – respect, transparency and fairness. The law firm is proud to be part of this initiative with the aim to foster respect, responsibility and compassion at all levels and promote ethical values.

Head of Resourcing at Blake Morgan, Maria Coombe, said:

We are delighted to sign up to the charter. The pillars resonate strongly with our own internal ethos, which is centred around being astute, committed, team playing and straightforward in everything that we do. It guides the way we interact with our colleagues, clients and communities.
