Careers at Blake Morgan

We want our people to be their best and to be happy and fulfilled at work. It’s that simple.

It’s why we’re known for our open, friendly and supportive working environment. It’s why we focus on straight-forward and transparent communications and processes.
It’s why we talk a lot about ‘making a difference’ whether that’s for our clients, our communities or our people.

When you join Blake Morgan, you can expect to work hard of course, but you can also expect to be part of a team that pulls together and works towards a common goal; you can expect to be trusted and respected for your professional knowledge and expertise whichever part of the firm you work in; you can expect to have the resources and flexibility you need to get the job done well; and you can expect to have fun.

You’ll be joining a firm that is dedicated and determined in pursuit of success for its clients; which supports its people to build careers and realise their full potential; and which is committed to giving back to its local communities and to providing volunteering and funding for local charities.

Making a difference at Blake Morgan

Every year, Blake Morgan recognises the exceptional contribution made by individuals and teams across the firm through its Making a Difference Awards.

The Awards celebrate success across a number of categories, including CR Superstar, Synergy (teams working together to bring success), Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and both individual and team commitments to client success.

In the last year, we have raised almost £17,000 for our office charities and given hundreds of volunteering hours. We’re also known for our commitment to Corporate Responsibility.
Some examples of our volunteering initiatives and charity days can be seen below.

Sleep out

On Friday 18th May 2018, a team from our Cardiff and Reading offices spent the night sleeping on the streets of Cardiff to raise money and awareness for two of our office charities who are tackling homelessness, Huggard (Cardiff) and Faith (Reading).

Great City Race

A team of 15 intrepid runners from our London office managed to complete the race, with everyone finishing in less than 32 minutes! The team took part to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Ultra ASIA Race 2018

On 24 March 2018, our London Legal Director, Mark Scott, headed to a remote area in the North West of Vietnam, in the region of Mai Châu near the Laos border, to take part in the Ultra ASIA Race 2018. This race is not your average park run, half or even full marathon, the Ultra ASIA Race is a four-day, 160km foot race in four stages, with 6,000 metres of positive elevation and 7,000 metres of negative elevation!
