Legal insight day
These insight days below are available to students in year 11 or beyond.
For students who are interested in a legal career, our Legal Insight Day allows participants to develop their understanding of the legal profession and the career pathways to becoming a qualified legal professional (e.g. CILEx or Solicitor). In addition, participants will be given helpful application and interview tips, gain hands-on experience of working through a legal research activity and hear from members of our legal teams.

Legal operations insight day
These insight days below are available to students in year 11 or beyond.
Blake Morgan’s legal teams are supported by a range of roles such as Trainee Legal Support Assistant, Legal Support Assistant and Executive Assistant. They also work with Business Service teams which include Risk & Compliance, Business Development & Marketing, Finance, Facilities, Human Resources and IT.
If you are interested in a career within Legal Operations, our Insight Day will enable you to learn about different types of career pathways within legal operations and understand how these teams/roles work with and support the firm, be given helpful application and interview tips and gain hands-on experience of working through an activity.
The dates for 2026 are:

Legal work experience
This programme is open to any undergraduates and graduates.
During the week, you will gain insight into our culture and working practices through spending time in different practice groups and undertaking a range of fictional and real fee-earning work. This could include research, drafting, and attending client meetings. You will work closely with current trainees and qualified lawyers at various stages of their careers – including Partners – during your time with each team.
Attending work experience is a full-time commitment and attendees must be able to attend the full duration of the work experience period. Work experience will run from Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. Please note, we do not offer accommodation or travel reimbursement for attendees.
We offer legal work experience opportunities on two weeks throughout the year. There are a limited number of placements available for each week, applicants will be selected on the strength of their application and are not guaranteed a placement.
The dates for 2026 are:
Monday 30 March to Thursday 2 April (Spring)
Monday 7 September to Thursday 10 September (Autumn)

Legal operations work experience
This programme is open to students in year 11 or beyond.
During the week, you will gain insight into our culture and working practices through spending time in different teams and undertaking a range of roles within legal operations. This could include working with reception to greet clients and prepare meeting rooms, working with IT to see what first and second line support looks like and looking at the people management and learning systems with HR or working within a legal team to see how they support legal professionals. You will work closely with members of the teams at various stages of their careers during your time with each team.
Attending work experience is a full-time commitment and attendees must be able to attend the full duration of the work experience period. Work experience will run from Monday to Thursday from 9.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. Please note, we do not offer accommodation or travel reimbursement for attendees.
