Scam Emails 2023

Posted on 13th December 2023

We have been made aware of emails purporting to be from Bradley Albuery at Blake Morgan.

Scammers are attempting to persuade people to send money by sending an email that appears to come from a legitimate company – in this instance an email from a partner at Blake Morgan.

We are aware that the fraudsters were asking contacts to pay money to claim a lottery win. We would like to thank those who have brought this to our attention.

Common ways to spot a scam email:

  • Offer seems too good to be true
  • Message encourages you to click on a link which contains a mismatched URL or misleading domain name
  • Message contains poor spelling or grammar
  • You are asked to send money or give personal details or passwords

You can also read more on scamming and how to report on the Government website here.

While we have no control over this activity, we apologise to anyone who has been inconvenienced by emails of this nature and have taken the appropriate action to protect our clients and contacts.
