In early December the email account of one of our employees, Kate Hathaway, was hacked. We were able to quickly contain the incident but are aware that a number of her clients received emails purporting to be from her and requesting payment of monies to a fraudulent account.
Please contact us if you receive any requests for payment purporting to be from Kate Hathaway so that we can ensure that these requests are genuine.
We understand that incidents like this will cause concern and would like to assure our clients that we are taking appropriate action to protect ourselves and our clients against cybercrime. We have reported this incident to the SRA.
As with all payments we continue to advise our clients to contact us by phone to verify requests before transferring monies.
Thank you for your continued support.
