Beth is a Partner in the Commercial and Charities group and a specialist charities lawyer. She is Head of the Charities team and is based in our Cardiff office.
Main areas of practice
Beth has experience in advising charities, not for profit organisations, individual and corporate philanthropists on a range of charity law issues. These include including start-ups, charity incorporations and mergers, governance, regulatory issues and complex charitable trusts.
As a trustee herself, Beth has a strong understanding of the issues facing charities in the real world, recognising that these are both human and legal matters. She is deeply passionate about the sector and strives to provide practical advice to support clients with their strategic aims.
Clients
Beth works with a wide variety of charities and not-for-profit organisations, from start-ups to some of the largest charities in the country. She builds long term relationships with her clients, enabling her to provide legal support which is both commercial, sensitive and practical.
Beth has experience in advising charities working in diverse sectors, including faith based, arts and culture, sports and recreation, health and animal welfare.

Beth qualified as a Solicitor in 2011. She joined Blake Morgan as Head of Charities in June 2026.

- Advising local authorities on historic charitable trusts of land, including land swaps and community asset transfers.

- Advising various Royal Charter bodies on updating their governing documents.
- Advising faith-based organisations, including large umbrella organisations, on their charity law and governance issues.
