James is a Solicitor in the Risk & Compliance team in our Southampton Office.
Main areas of practice
James assists with a variety of risk and compliance issues – including anti-money laundering (AML), conflicts and Code of Conduct issues – as well as claims and complaints.
Career
James has significant previous experience working in and with the charity and public sectors, including advising Government and others on a range of public policy issues.
James completed his GDL in 2021 and his LPC in 2023, achieving high distinctions for both, before starting his training contract with Blake Morgan in September 2023. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2025.
