Jenny Hodge

Jenny is a Solicitor in the Commercial & Charities team based in the Reading office.

Main areas of practice

Jenny assists with a broad range of both commercial and charity matters. Her commercial work focusses on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts. Her work for charities includes mergers and academy conversions, as well as providing governance advice and training for trustees.

Career

Jenny graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with a BA in English & Drama in 2005. She worked as a Teacher of English in both the state and private sectors, having completed her PGCE at the University of Warwick. She achieved an MA in Learning and Teaching in 2012 while continuing her teaching role.

Jenny completed the GDL in 2021 and LPC in 2022 at the University of Law, achieving Distinction in both. Before beginning her Period of Recognised Training, Jenny undertook an internship at the Royal Courts of Justice and was a paralegal at Blake Morgan. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2025.
