Karen is an Associate in the Regulatory team based at the London office.

Main areas of practice

Karen has five years of experience conducting Fitness to Practise investigations and also worked for the Care Quality Commission legal for five years mainly specialising in civil litigation including First Tier Tribunal Appeals and Judicial Review claims.

Karen acts for large healthcare regulatory bodies such as the Health and Care Professions Council and the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Career

Karen was awarded a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Second Class Upper Honours (LLB) and completed her LPC at BPP Law School.

Karen joined Blake Morgan in October 2025. Prior to joining Blake Morgan, Karen worked at the CQC for five years where she also qualified as a Civil Litigation Solicitor undertaking FTT appeals and Judicial Review claims. During her time at the CQC, Karen also worked in Legal Advisory teams and completed a six-month secondment at the Charity Commission.
