Karen Kirk

Karen is Director of Risk and Compliance for Blake Morgan.

Main areas of practice

Karen deals with a variety of risk and compliance issues, both operational and business-related, ensuring the firm is compliant with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and dealing with complaints and claims against the firm.

She is also responsible for obtaining and retaining the firm’s quality standards, ISO and Lexcel (BL Claims Solicitors).

Career

Karen joined Morgan Cole in 1980, and became a partner in 1987. She left the firm in 2001 to look after her, then, young children but returned in 2012 as Compliance Manager for the Insurance team. She joined the Risk and Compliance team in 2014 as an associate.
