Katie Newham

Katie is a Solicitor in the Corporate team, and is based in our Southampton office.

Main areas of practice

Katie assists with a broad range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, re-organisations and restructurings, together with general corporate advisory work for a wide variety of clients.

Career

Katie graduated from the University of Surrey in July 2019 with a First Class degree in Law with Criminology, also receiving the Head of School Prize for the best overall performance in her cohort. Katie went on to achieve a Distinction in the combined Legal Practice Course and Masters in Law at the University of Law in Guildford in August 2020, before joining Blake Morgan as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2020.

During Katie’s period of training, she undertook two seats in the firm’s Corporate department. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2022 and joined the team on a permanent basis.
