Kirsteen is a Construction Litigation Legal Director based in our Oxford office with previous experience of property litigation and insurance.
Main areas of practice
Kirsteen’s experience ranges from tree root claims to multi-party construction matters, including Policy Coverage disputes, recoveries, pollution claims and manufacturing recovery work.
Her previous experience centred upon professional indemnity work, from Solicitors defence work to architectural, engineering and surveyor disputes.

Career
Kirsteen qualified in 1996 after completing her CPE and LPC at the University of Northumbria. Prior to this she completed a BA Hons in English Literature at the University of Durham. Kirsteen was promoted to Legal Director in July 2025.

Significant Experience
- Working with and advising a Local Authority on the development and running of a complaints and claims handling process to address all non-PI claims; requiring co-ordination and clear reporting parameters across several separate departments;
- Successfully concluding a complex farming “neighbour dispute” between two landowners and brokering an ongoing method of working;
- Taking multi-million pound claims to the Court of Appeal and to the House of Lords.
