Liz is the firm’s HR & Development Director.

Main areas of practice

Liz leads the HR team and is responsible for all aspects of strategic and operational HR including learning & development, reward, resourcing, and equality, diversity and inclusion. Liz also supports the firm’s Responsible Business agenda, sitting on the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee as Health & Wellbeing Champion, and on the Environmental, Social & Governance Committee, leading on social value.

Career

Liz has worked in a wide range of regional, national and international law firms. She joined Blake Morgan in 2015, having previously worked at Herbert Smith Freehills and Jones Day.

Liz’s background is in talent, learning and organisational development and she is an experienced executive coach.  She is qualified with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a fully accredited psychometrics practitioner with the British Psychological Society. She also holds a master’s level qualification in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring.

Liz is a certified Mental Health First Aider, a qualified Menopause Mentor and BM Pride Ally.
