Lucie is an experienced regulatory and disciplinary lawyer. She acts on behalf of a number of professional regulatory bodies in relation to fitness to practise proceedings, in both the legal and healthcare sector.
Main areas of practice
Lucie has particular experience in conducting fitness to practise investigations on behalf of large healthcare regulators, including the Nursing & Midwifery Council and the Health and Care Professions Council. Lucie has conducted numerous high-profile and complex investigations and has particular experience in investigating cases involving sexual misconduct. Lucie has also started taking instructions from the Solicitors Regulation Authority in respect of disciplinary investigations.
Lucie regularly makes applications to the High Court in respect of extensions of interim order applications and applications for disclosure within the Family Division.
Lucie also conducts advisory work to regulators, including on protection of title matters and disclosure applications.

Career
Lucie graduated from the University of Surrey in 2017 with a First Class Degree in Law. During her University degree, Lucie completed a professional training year in Blake Morgan’s Business and Professional Regulatory teams, working as a Legal Assistant. During this role, she was responsible for conducting Fitness to Practise investigations on behalf of various healthcare regulators, notably the General Pharmaceutical Council. Lucie also assisted the Business Regulatory Team with Health and Safety, Environmental and General Crime and Motoring matters. Thereafter Lucie completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford in 2018, where she gained a distinction.
Lucie commenced her training contract in 2018 at regional and city firms and undertook seats in Commercial Litigation, Civil Fraud and Asset Recovery, Professional Regulatory and Private Client teams. Notably, Lucie worked on the defence of a high-profile case brought by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the subsequent appeal.
Lucie qualified as a Solicitor in August 2020 and joined Blake Morgan’s regulatory team in November 2020.
