Maddy is a Solicitor within the Professional Regulatory team, based in Southampton.
Main areas of practice
Maddy advises in relation to regulatory investigations and proceedings, for professional healthcare regulatory bodies.
Maddy has experience in representing healthcare providers and dealing with enforcement action by regulatory bodies, such as CQC and Ofsted. She also has experience in advising healthcare providers during safeguarding investigations and investigating and responding to complex complaints.

Career
Maddy graduated from the University of Surrey in 2021, with an LLB in Law with Criminology. Maddy then went on to study the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford.
From 2023, Maddy trained at a regional firm and then qualified as a solicitor in September 2025, specialising in health and social care regulation. Most notably, she was heavily involved in representing care providers during inquests and supporting vulnerable witnesses.
During Maddy’s training contract, she also undertook seats in real estate and private client.
