Rebecca joined the Construction team as an experienced Paralegal in November 2016, before qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in June 2022 and a Solicitor in January 2024.

Main areas of practice

Rebecca specialises in construction law, with a primary focus on transactional work. She negotiates standard form and bespoke professional appointments, checks and compiles building contracts and reviews and processes collateral warranties and other related documents required for the successful delivery of projects.

Rebecca acts for a number of repeat-instruction clients, and has a particular focus on undertaking due diligence (DD) work for a variety of banks and lending institutions. She also provides assistance with dispute resolution on contentious matters.

The team’s practice area covers a broad range of funder, client and contractor instructions across multiple regions, in both the private and public sector.

Rebecca graduated from Bournemouth University in November 2015 having completed the LLB, and studied the CILEx Graduate Fast-Track Diploma with CILEx Law School until 2022. Rebecca studied the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law until 2023 and cross-qualified as a Solicitor in 2024.
