Sophie Stone

Sophie is a Trainee Solicitor in the Banking & Finance department, based in our Reading Office.

Main areas of practice

Sophie is in the first seat of her training contract within the Banking & Finance department. Sophie assists the Banking team on a variety of transactions involving debt finance.

Sophie also has experience of regulatory law, having working in the Regulatory Team for over two years.

Career

Sophie graduated from the University of Exeter in 2019 with an Upper second-class honours degree in Law. She then completed the LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in Reading and graduated with a Distinction in 2020. In January 2021, Sophie joined Blake Morgan as a Paralegal in the Regulatory Team. Sophie was then promoted to a Case Manager in the Regulatory Team in July 2022. Sophie commenced her training contract with the firm in September 2023.
