William Blackburn

William is a Senior Associate(FCILEx) in the Commercial Recoveries team, specialising in disputed litigation claims across regulated and non-regulated matters.

Main areas of practice

William assists clients in the recovery of debt and assets, including dealing with complex or contested litigation. William is also responsible for the management of the team’s residential landlord and tenant and non-regulated commercial debt recovering offering.

Career

William graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2012, with first class honours in Law. He has worked in the Commercial Recoveries team since 2014, initially as a litigation paralegal until qualifying as a Legal Executive in 2020.

He was promoted to Senior Associate in July 2026.
