Blake Morgan is delighted to have supported PME Consulting and BTG Begbies Traynor on the sale of Freight Movement Ltd, a Newport-headquartered logistics and haulage firm, to Monex Distribution Ltd.

The pre-packaged administration sale preserves 61 jobs and minimises disruption to clients and services. With almost 30 years of logistics trading and a UK-wide client base, Freight Movement Ltd is now part of the family-owned haulage network Monex Group where its strong heritage will be preserved and built upon.

Insolvency Partner Paul Caldicott led on the sale, with support from Blake Morgan’s Banking & Finance, Employment and Property teams. He said:

It was a pleasure to act for our clients, collaborating on a deal that moved quickly to secure the best outcome and safeguard jobs. We are grateful for the commitment of all parties involved and are confident this heralds a bright new era for the business as part of the Monex Group.
