Blake Morgan has been appointed to the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) RM6374 Legal Services Framework for the Public Sector, further strengthening its public sector legal offering across the UK.
The appointment gives central government, local government, health and social care organisations, and other public sector bodies access to Blake Morgan’s legal services through the framework.
The appointment covers the following lots under the framework:
- Lot 1a – Full Legal Service Provision for the Public Sector
- Lot 1b – Full Legal Service Provision for Local Government and Local Communities, including Housing and Charity Sectors
- Lot 1c – Full Legal Service Provision for Health and Social Care
- Lot 2 – Focused Legal Support
- Lot 3 – Litigation and Disputes
- Lot 4 – Projects and Complex Advice, including PPP
Valued at up to £500 million, the framework is intended to give public sector organisations access to legal expertise across a broad range of disciplines. Blake Morgan’s place on the framework reflects the strength of its public sector practice and its established track record of advising public bodies, health and social care organisations, housing providers, charities and government entities.
The firm’s public sector team advises on regulatory and governance matters, commercial contracts, procurement, employment, real estate, construction, projects, dispute resolution, and strategic transformation programmes. It has particular experience advising organisations operating in regulated environments and supporting complex public sector projects.
