Blake Morgan appoints experienced partner to join Thames Valley corporate practice

Blake Morgan has appointed an experienced new partner to further strengthen its renowned corporate practice in the Thames Valley.

Simon Staples, a specialist in mergers, acquisitions and disposals, is relocating to join Blake Morgan’s corporate team in the Thames Valley. He brings with him a wealth of experience in advising companies, financial advisers and brokers regarding sales and acquisitions, equity fundraisings, IPOs, secondary issues, public company takeovers and regulatory compliance.

He joins the firm from Ashfords, where he was a partner, and will be based at Blake Morgan’s Reading office. Simon will head up a team that advises some of the leading organisations in the country, along with a diverse range of owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs.

In the last 12 months the team has advised on a range of transactions , including AIM listings, sales and acquisitions.
